I've challenged myself to find and photograph 150 different species of birds this year! I will be posting this challenge on my Facebook page, as well as TikTok, so if you aren't following me on those platforms, make sure to do so! I will of course be keeping track of all of the birds I see on the blog as well, but the posts will come much later, instead of the daily posts I'll have on social media.
There are only two minor rules for this challenge:
•Birds must be clear and identifiable and,
•Birds must be in a natural setting. (no feeders in photo)
Of course all photos will be new and taken this year, for 2026. I usually keep track of the birds I see anyway, but I think making it a challenge with those simple rules will make it a little more fun and satisfying to catalogue each bird. I will make posts here in increments of 10, so let's see what the new year has already brought!
