Spotlight: Butterflies

I love taking photos of butterflies, and this summer I feel like I’ve seen more than ever. I planted milkweed and a lot of other butterfly friendly plants in my yard this year and it really attracted so many Monarch, Swallowtail and other species. Aside from attracting them to my own yard, I’ve seen them everywhere out in the wild as well. I think more and more people are realizing how important it is to plant native plants and create habitat for these special creatures.
